What a wonderful second term we had in Orla's class. It has been another busy term! 

It is safe to say we still love our fabulous playground! We have also started inviting some children from Junior Infants to join us for three yard times throughout the week. ​

We've have had some lovely sensory play recently too.

Wow.

After months and months of dreaming about getting our playground, it has finally been installed... and it is just amazing! This was the BEST surprise ever on Monday morning, when we got to see it and use it for the first time ever. Check out these happy faces - we just love it.

We cannot wait to show it to the rest of the school too!

Believe it or not, we really enjoy Groupwork each day in our classroom!

We have been doing super work; learning new skills and further developing old ones. Take a look at a small sample of what we have been getting up to. 

Normally, our classroom is a very busy place... sometimes, however, we take a few minutes to chill out and relax!

During the month of October, we have been learning all about Autumn. We focused on key words (red, orange, yellow, brown, leaf, hedgehog, conker, acorn), completed matching activities, watched autumn songs and did some lovely autumn art.

We are very excited to be starting a new school year in Orla's class. We have welcomed two new boys to our class, so we are still getting to know one another! 

Here are a few pictures of what we have been getting up to. We have been working on getting back into our classroom routine, as well as having lots of fun!

We had our graduation day yesterday! 

It was a wonderful day spent celebrating two of our pupils who are moving on from our Early Intervention class. Both boys have spent two years with us and have been here since the very first day our class opened! 

We will miss them so much, but have such wonderful memories with them - see slideshow below with some of the highlights!

What a fantastic day we had on our school tour. 
We went to Funky Monkeys in Citywest, where the staff were so kind to us and took great care of us! We loved it - we spent our time climbing, sliding and exploring everywhere. We cannot wait to go back!
