It doesn't get better than this......our yard is a little sun trap so when it comes out we bask in all it's glory. What a fabulous way to spend the afternoon - circle time, reading one of our favourite stories and to round it off and game of 'Duck, Duck, Goose'! And to finish......

This week some of us have been working on procedural writing. Typical examples of procedural writing includes recipes, science experiments, assembly manuals or instructions for playing games. We made a cheese sandwich and wrote out the steps we had to follow to prepare it. We have also been doing some grammar - working on capital letters and learning about when we need to use them.
And we started where we left off.......cooking! This week we tried our hand at crispy chicken tenders. Buttermilk, smashed cornflakes, tiny bit of spice and of course enjoying the fruits of our labour! I didn't even get the chance to take a photo - gonezo before I could even get the phone out!
Third cycling champ in the making here! Think myself and Romy will have to quit teaching and focus on our coaching careers instead! Absolutely thrilled with this dude and can't wait to have all three of my boys doing laps of the daily mile. So so proud of you A! We can't put into words how happy we all were coming back to school after such a long break. It was amazing to see each other, get back into our classroom, meet new friends and not be in the house! Plus we had savage weather and the whole school to ourselves!! Here are some pictures of our first day back. |
