We have been working hard on our Maths for the past few weeks. We have been focusing on sorting, number line activities and learning how to bundle and exchange with tens and units. We have been doing some great work using giant number lines, pictures and lollipop sticks to help us learn new math skills.

It has taken a week and a day to build but finally our new trampoline is assembled and ready to enjoy! Every day the children have been watching the adults put sweat and tears into putting this colossal piece of equipment together. They have been so patient and encouraging. And now to enjoy the fruits of our collective labour! It started out on the trampoline and now it's moved onto the yard! And if you get tired, you can still hang out together!
It was a fabulous weather when the sun came out today so we decided to enjoy it outside a do a bit of P.E. We got the parachute out and had great fun and games.
Welcome to our new school year. We are delighted to be back, ready to learn lots, explore new things, have fun but most of all spend the next few months together! Keep checking into our news and sensory activities page to see and read about all the things we have been doing. First things first.....we finally got our ball pool! Talk about the excitement of it! The children couldn't wait to jump in and the novelty hasn't worn off yet! We also welcomed a new boy to our class. Looks like he has made a buddy already!
We already know we have a fabulous class with fabulous parents but today's events really brought it home to us! We marked A's graduation from our school. Look at the send off we gave him. Our families took time out of their busy lives to show A how much he means to us and how he will be missed. Just goes to show what a wonderful sense of community and support we have for each other. Much love to all who came today. We know it means a lot to A and his parents.
School tour time and we had the most amazing day! The weather, the lack of crowds and hanging out with each other ...... The whole day was just brilliant. We had lunch outside the zoo at the bandstand and then inside, saw so many different animals and sea life and really enjoyed our day out. I have to say how proud I was of my gang. They were beyond unreal! Some tired bodies after it I'd imagine but it was worth it! That's all my guys up and cycling now! We need to get a bigger yard and more bikes! It's so brilliant to see them flying around after each other. Have to say hats off to Romy for all the time and effort she put into this AND all the children too for their perseverance! Everybody uses different ways to communicate. Pointing, looking, gesturing, body language, sounds, pictures, symbols and speaking. I happened to open a pack of Pringles for myself and here is what I ended up with...... 2 eager little people telling me they want in on my stash!
We go to our fabulous sensory room every day. It helps us relax, chill, have quiet time and have some time to ourselves. Sometimes we play music and sometimes we just enjoy the lights.
